I watched him play play at Carshalton in a pre season 1996, Dumitrescu and Paulo Futre on the pitch, I had the typical pre conception that he was only in the team because of his old man but you could see he had something about him.
his old man was a great servant to the club so to get moronic chants from pond life about his dead wife would warrant a defection in my book

Massive overated cunt who never gave the deserved respect to the club that nurtured him. Had a decent career after he left due to the luck of joining a team that inherited abramovich. Believe the stats and youd think he was an all time great. I just wish someone would dig out the shots to goals ratio minus penalties and we'd all see him for what he is/was. A decent consistent player but no more than that. The love in for that cunt on here is embarrassing considering how often hes slated the club. And for the record, this so called 'abuse' he got during his time at west ham was minimal. He was well supported by many including myself in his early years.
